It was an honour to be the closing keynote speaker at the annual conference for the who's who of banking in Australia.

With the Treasurer Jim Chalmers being the star attraction, and Anna Bligh on straight after me to wrap the proceedings, it was an all star card...and lil ole me.

I spoke about a range of things, namely ESG and the role EVP plays in this; I touched on the power of future state thinking and how this unlocks custodianship.

In the end, better people make better leaders and our role is to leave the industry in a better position than when we found it.
